ARLAND DEVELOPMENT

Arland Development is a residential community-based Development Company specializing in horizontal land development. Founded in 1978 by Alan Resh, and based out of Virginia Beach, VA, Arland Development is focused geographically on the southeast region of the United States. Using its 45 years of development experience, Arland seeks out properties that present ideal Residential Lot solutions for its National, Regional, and Community home builder clientele.

Today, Arland’s primary focus is the acquisition and entitlement of raw land for future residential communities. Attention to detail is a trademark of Arland. You will experience this as you enter an Arland community, by simply taking notice of the refined details our development team has included throughout. From as simple an item as street signage and lighting to the state-of-the-art amenities such as Clubhouses, pools, and bocce courts.

Arland Development is composed of three divisions specializing in specific development processes. The core division focuses on acquisition and entitlement of unimproved land. Another division specializes in construction management of the horizontal infrastructure improvements. Recently Arland partnered with Signature Homes RENC to head up its residential sales division. This interlocking relationship between the horizontal development teams and Real Estate division helps Arland maintain an up-to-date analysis of market conditions that help drive maximum values for our clients.
